Hey all, my name is Luke Dowell and I am a History/Education major and it’s my second year at App state. I’ve really enjoyed my time at App and I have seen enough snow for a lifetime I think. Some hobbies of mine include playing guitar(if you need a guitar player hit me up), reading and playing video games. I am hoping to get my teaching degree and eventually my doctorate and become a head of a history department at a university some day.
My goal to get out of this class is to learn better ways to use technology in the classroom. While I am alright at using technology, I am not as good as many of my peers. For example my roommates who are computer science majors know almost anything about coding (and I can flex on them by knowing how to turn the computer on and off). So hopefully I will learn some key skills for my future career here.
For my media inclusion I chose to include the last movie I watched with my friends, and that being Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Indiana Jones movies are my comfort movies so I always love finding time to watch one and I can almost quote the whole movie, maybe I’ll get there one day.
