Hi, I’m Grace! (And That is Lucy!)
I am a history social studies education major, and this is my second year at App State! Some fun facts about me are that I love dogs (as pictured above), I like to sew, run, be outdoors, and I’m from Michigan, so I also love lakes like the one my hometown is on!
One thing I’m excited about in this class is understanding how to better utilize technology both for my own benefit in research, as well as for my future students’ benefit in the classroom. I have a passion for studying history, but even more than that I have a passion for teaching students how to discover the aspects of education that allow for full expression of their unique intelligences. I think the volume of technological and digital knowledge I will gain from this class will help me reach more students in the classroom through different modes of presentation and research! (I’ve already optimized my own research process in all of my courses through the use of Zotero!)
