Birds are some of the most amazing, incredible, and awe-inspiring creatures that inhabit planet earth, and my mother never let me get one. I’ve asked for a pet bird since I was 10 years old, and from what I can remember my infatuation with them began after I saw the 2011 film Rio. I would beg and beg and beg for a cockatiel, a green cheeked conure, or a love bird to keep as a pet; my mom never budged. To this day I still don’t have a pet bird. But once I begin my teaching career and finally get a place to live on my own, the first purchase I’ll make (after getting a fridge and a bed) will be a bird.

The main goal I’ve set for myself in this course is to further my understanding of digital resources and how I can implement them into my future teaching practices, in order to create a more interesting and fun classroom experience.
